Code.org CS Fundamentals Workshop In-Person

Code.org is honored to partner with National University on this professional development experience for educators interested in bringing more computer science and computational thinking to their classrooms. It is one of the premier engineering, science, and mathematics colleges in the United States This is a one-day workshop gives you full access to the NEW 2018 CS Fundamentals A-F Curriculum and all online and printed coding materials to use with your students. It's free. This Computer Science Fundamentals PD is perfect for both beginners to coding and teachers experienced in CS who want to learn something new.

This training is open to all teachers, administrators, TAs, technology and computer teachers/coordinators, and parent volunteers from any type of school. All participants will experience teaching "unplugged" CompSci concepts with a concentration on computational thinking. You'll leave confident and ready to get your students learning CompSci the following Monday. Breakfast coffee and bagels are provided and attendees have a one hour lunch to enjoy many great local options.
