Dissertation Manuscript Publishing Office Hour

Dissertation Manuscript Publishing Office Hour Online

Are you an NU alumni or a successfull-defended* docorate student, looking to publish your dissertation manuscript with ProQuest and/or NU Institutional Repository?

* Please note that you cannot publish your NU dissertation with ProQuest until after it has been successfully defended.

In this drop-in session, Tammy Ivins will answer your questions, including...

  • what is open access and do I need to pay ProQuest for it?
  • what benefits come from filing copyright for my dissertation, and do I need to pay ProQuest for it?
  • how do I delete comments from my Word document?

Tammy has been a NU librarian since 2022 and since 2025 has served as NU's Dissertation Manuscript Publication & Institutional Repository Administrator.
